Today, German and Scandinavian households largely endorse the consumption of fruit berries and NERGI® mini kiwifruit. Leading retail networks were quick to promote the product, and consumers are following suit. While some consumers see it as a way of promoting healthy, tasty food, others choose it for convenience and ease of use. Although French and Italian consumers appear to be adopting the product more slowly, consumer habits are changing and the outlook for development is favourable.

This year, the quantity of flowers observed at flowering stage is particularly high.

If the weather conditions are favorable until harvest, the volumes of marketable fruit will be significantly higher than in 2022. Good news for consumers!

The kiwi berries from Arguta HORTGEM varieties are marketed under the NERGI® brand. To benefit from the NERGI® brand, the kiwi berries have to meet a certain number of quality criteria listed in strict specifications. Depending on the production areas such Portugal, Italy, Spain, France and Ukraine, the first pickings will take place between August and September.

The sales period runs from August to November.
